About this opportunity

Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025 is a global, online program focused on introducing new contributors (often students) to open source software development. Participants work remotely with an open-source organization on a ~12-week coding project under the guidance of experienced mentors. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older at the time of registration

  • Preferred prior experience contributing to open source projects (e.g., submitting patches, participating in community work)
