About this opportunity
IT for SHE 2025 is the ninth edition of an unprecedented mentoring program in Poland aimed at increasing the participation of women in the tech industry. The program connects talented female STEM students and graduates with mentors from leading technology companies for a 6-month one-on-one mentorship. Participants develop their technical and soft skills, receive guidance in career path planning and leadership development, and gain insight into the workings of global tech corporations. The initiative is organized by the Perspektywy Education Foundation and has been recognized with a European Digital Skills Award for its impact on advancing digital skills for women.
Requirements
- Applicant must be a woman (18 or older) who is a student, PhD candidate, or a graduate in a STEM field (e.g., computer science, engineering, etc.)
- Strong interest in technology and motivation to grow a career in IT
- Commitment to participate in the 6-month mentoring program (JuneāDecember 2025), including at least one one-hour session per month with a mentor
- Proficiency in Polish (the programās official language)
- Access to a computer and internet for online sessions (any travel for in-person meetings is at the participantās own expense)
